泰陸軍總司令誓言打擊人口販運

（中央社記者林憬屏曼谷 2014年6月20日專電）美國國務院今天在「2014年人口販運報告」（TIP）中調降泰國等級，從第二級降為第三級，泰國陸軍總司令帕拉育晚間電視談話強調，軍方將加強追查在人口販售中獲利的有力人士。

帕拉育（Prayuth Chan-ocha）每週五晚間發表電視談話，他誓言打擊人口販運的評論，正好接近美國公佈報告的時間。

過去兩週，至少有20萬柬埔寨勞工擔心被取締而逃回柬埔寨，帕拉育表示，有關軍方將展開鎮壓的謠言是「有影響力的人物與貪污官員」所散播，他們的目的是要造成恐慌，他們才能在勞工返回泰國時收取更多錢。

帕拉育表示，情報指向這些有力人士與貪污官員放出駭人聽聞的消息要敗壞軍方名聲，軍方很快會打擊這些人士。

帕拉育表示，非法勞工可以暫時在泰國工作，等軍方找出長期解決辦法，包括登記、驗證國籍等，並成立收容中心，協助無國籍移工，包括從緬甸逃出的洛興雅（Rohingya）穆斯林。
