南非挖出232克白鑽值2千萬美金

南非以出產大鑽石著稱的卡利南鑽礦，又挖出一顆232克拉的白鑽，價值高達2000萬美金。

位於南非首都普瑞托利亞以東的卡利南鑽礦，1905年曾挖出全球最大的鑽石，3106克拉的卡利南鑽，後來切割成兩塊，鑲在英國王冠上。

卡利南公司2010年曾以3530萬美元，售出一顆507.3克拉的白鑽，創下未加工天然鑽石歷來最高售價。

新發現的白鑽不但大，而且非常澄澈透明，預定今年底前拍賣，可能賣到一、兩千萬美元。

卡利南鑽礦不但經常出現10克拉以上白鑽，也出產極罕見的藍鑽，今年6月即挖出一顆122.52克拉的藍鑽。
