副總統：來台旅客逾九百萬人次

台北國際觀光博覽會今天開幕，副總統吳敦義出席揭幕時說，台灣觀光業蓬勃發展，今年來台旅客將突破900萬人次。

這一次的台北國際觀光博覽會規模歷屆最大，集結600家知名廠商，超過1200個攤位數，帶來25萬觀光人潮，也是旅行業者評估下半年景氣的指標，估計暑假可以有新台幣30億元的旅行商機。

吳副總統說，旅遊業是六大新興產業之一，自2008年以來，台灣的免簽證國家地區從54個增加到140個，台灣的觀光實力也獲得國際社會認可。

他還說，自2008年開始，來台灣的國際觀光旅客每年都在增加，今年目標希望有900萬人次的國際觀光客來台，並在2016年底破1000萬人次；以今年第一季就破了230萬，他認為很有可能。

博覽會也提供機票、住宿券、餐券和精美禮品等獎品供預先購票者抽獎，現場更有許多超值的旅遊產品供選擇，歡迎民眾前往台北世界貿易展覽館一館參觀。
