「你已砍4刀，請不要殺我好嗎？」

「你已經砍了四刀，請你不要殺我好嗎？」新北市民陳家慧前天在捷運列車上搶先按警鈴、接著再撥一一九，被鄭捷發現，猛砍她四刀，陳家慧急中生智，向鄭捷喊話，鄭捷才就此收手。

「我聽到有人尖叫，抬頭看到一個男生拿刀，一個一個砍向我身邊的乘客，我們邊跑邊推邊叫，也忘記到底跑過幾節車廂。」四十一歲的陳家慧昨晚躺在台大醫院病床上，回憶那一剎那說：「聽到有人喊『按警鈴！』我馬上衝到車門邊按緊急鈴。」

陳家慧說，根本來不及透過對講機求救，為了逃命，繼續往前跑，因為對方還在一直揮刀，她趕緊轉身，背對凶嫌用手機撥打一一九，未料馬上被發現，持刀從她後背、右手臂及左肩各砍一刀，她回過頭準要擋刀時，鄭又砍斷了她的右手手筋，並拿出摺疊刀，打算再刺向她胸口。

陳家慧說，當時不知哪裡來的勇氣，對著鄭捷大喊，鄭當場愣住，沒有再傷害其他人。
