菲律賓逮捕共黨叛軍最高領袖

菲律賓武裝部隊總參謀長波提斯塔22日表示，菲律賓共黨叛軍主席田隆與妻子在一項軍警聯合突襲作業中被捕。波提斯塔呼籲共黨的從眾放下武器，結束45年的叛亂。

共黨的武裝羽翼「新人民軍」叛亂至少造成3萬人死亡，叛軍人數已從1980年代末期的2萬6000人降至4000人，但持續構成威脅。
