狂犬病動物試驗 陳保基:回歸專業

台灣正進行狂犬病動物試驗，傳出美國知名電視脫口秀主持人艾倫公開反對。農委會主委陳保基今天表示，對於人畜共通的疾病，防疫是非常專業的事情，應該交由專業處理，農委會不會做無謂的犧牲，但一定要尊重專業。

媒體問，動保團體以及部分專家反對農委會進行動物試驗，陳保基說，也有許多專家贊成，防疫的問題應該回歸專業，由專家決定。

農委會防檢局長張淑賢說，就是因為這是台灣特有的病毒，因此需要這些試驗來佐證，要做口服疫苗也需要這些試驗結果當作基礎，且防檢局早已說過會分階段進行，一個階段試驗結束後，會來調整或評估下個階段要進行的內容與範圍，狂犬病是人畜共通的疾病，台灣作為世界地球村的一份子，應該負起一定的責任。
