親民黨主席宋楚瑜率領的親民黨訪問團，6日下午搭乘中華航空公司班機啟程前往大陸北京，出席新書發表會等行程，親民黨秘書長秦金生等人隨團前往。宋楚瑜登機前表示，最近一陣子國內街頭運動讓他感觸良多，看到社會上對立的氣氛，不僅憂心，對台灣來講也很心疼；宋楚瑜認為，台灣可以變得更好，大家應該相互尊重，多溝通、多了解、多化解彼此間不同的爭議，更重要的是尊重民主的價值，堅持台灣人當家做主的自我意識，兩岸間更要和平，期盼大家一起好好地迎接未來。
