「最正主播」張宇路邊哈菸被逮，第一時間和第二時間說謊否認，被批公然說謊，隔了一天後，她終在臉書道歉，「對不起，錯誤示範！很抱歉沒有第一時間承認。」而同是台視主播的鄔凱雯也幫忙緩頰，請外界不要苛責她。

根據《蘋果日報》報導，鄔凱雯和林家琪、張宇同年參加台視百萬主播召集令，林家琪當年獲得冠軍，張宇是第二名，她則拿下第三名，對於林家琪和元大二少馬維辰熱戀後，決定休息充電，暫別主播台，鄔凱雯給予祝福，但她表示並不會羨慕，她說：「每人選擇不一樣。」

而對於第二名的張宇，鬧出抽菸說謊風波，鄔凱雯說：「她不是有意的，事後也已道歉，請大家不要太苛責她。」對於外傳張宇的主播時段不保，她說：「公司有說不會懲處，張宇還在播新聞。」
