全球一年 700萬人死於空氣污染

世界衛生組織說，從生火煮飯到汽車廢氣造成的空氣污染，估計2012年在全球造成700萬人喪生。

世衛說，室內和戶外的空氣污染已成為最大的環境衛生問題，影響已開發和開發中國家每一個人，2012年全球去世的人有八分之一與空氣污染有關。

與空氣污染有關的最大殺手是心臟病、中風、肺疾和肺癌，而全球受衝擊最嚴重的是東南亞，包括印度和印尼，以及西太平洋的中國、南韓、日本和菲律賓。這些地區一年就有590萬人因空氣污染喪生。

全球死者有430萬人是死於室內空氣污染，主要是燒煤、木柴和生質燃料煮飯造成的污染。有370萬人死於從燒煤取暖到柴油引擎造成的戶外污染。有許多人同時受到室內和戶外污染。
