其實樓主要表達的意思就是: 原廠基於市場及資源的考量, 所以不繼續提供更新就說清楚, 不要用 "由於硬體規格的限制..." 一語, 這樣反而搞的不清不楚.

樓主所言也不假, 事實上和 DS710+ 同等規格的 x11 系列部份機種仍提供更新, 顯然並不是硬體規格的限制.

或許原廠真的要考慮訂定一套比較清楚的產品支援辦法, 就像產品依等級不同而有二年保及三年保, 同樣的在軟體更新上, 是不是也應該有類似的做法? 產品最後銷售年月也是必須列為考量的.
