台北外匯市場新台幣兌美元以30.256元平盤開出，午盤暫收30.243元，暫升1.3分，成交量4.20億美元。

新台幣兌美元午盤以前高點30.225元、低點30.289元。

外匯交易員指出，美聯邦準備理事會利率會議維剛結束，宣示持低利率一段時間的做法符合預期；美元9月初走強，現階段可望維持緩步走強，新台幣仍然趨貶。接下來將觀察10月美聯準會再次舉行利率會議的結果。
