三星周四(18日)宣布，最新平板手機Note 4將於10月17日推出，且自周五(19日)起開始接受預購。

三星電信美國公司總裁 Gregory Lee表示：「三星以Galaxy Note系列開創了大螢幕智慧手機類別(平板手機)，目前我們已進入第4代，而其他廠商卻只正要踏入這種類別。」

三星不斷用廣告揶揄蘋果，描述蘋果上周才推出的最新款大尺寸iPhone，靈感就來自Note的尺寸。

「Galaxy Note 4呈現更精緻的Note體驗，這種最新技術正是消費者所求。」

三星還祭出被視為衝著蘋果來的一招：只要在10月16日前訂購一台Note 4，就可用任何還能運作的智慧手機，折價200美元。

Note 4擁有5.7吋高畫質螢幕、前後鏡頭也改善、快速充電，且配備適合書寫與作畫的手寫筆「S Pen」。

台灣三星官網推出預購網頁，聲稱預購贈品市價超過 4980元，包括無線充電組和手機螢幕意外險半年等。
