東京站加盟新竹市攻鐵道市場

新竹火車站是台灣現存建築與藝術評價最高的車站，年紀最大、也是國定古蹟；為凸顯稀有性，市府積極安排與國際知名車站締約下，JR東日本旅客鐵道株式會社所長野本浩表示，日方預計明年1月將和新竹締約。

新竹市長許明財說，新竹火車站已跟紐約中央車站締姊妹站，中央站與東京站又是姊妹站。

新竹火車站已百歲，日本東京車站今年百歲，許明財曾寫信邀約結姊妹市後，日方JR東日本旅客鐵道株式會社所長野本浩及國際業務部次長江澤肇等人昨天特地到到新竹拜會他。

野本在台鐵局餐飲服務所總經理黃振照及新竹站長黃榮華陪同下，參觀新竹火車站，對「小而美」的車站覺得親切，也驚豔市府所在的新竹州廳。
