美國汽油價格可能永遠不會再大跌

根據AAA公司統計顯示，周末，消費者支付了六年來最高的7月4日汽油價格，大多駕駛人支付每加侖汽油價格較預期高出15至20美分。然而，高價格並未阻擋約4100萬美國人開車50英里或以上，較去年同期上升1.9%。今年夏季，加油站的價格對美國駕駛人的影響，似乎不如原先預期。

因伊拉克緊張減緩，且供給充裕，原油價格下跌至三周低點。但儘管原油價格下跌，美國汽油價格卻上漲。

根據美國銀行指出，美國原油生產已超越沙烏地阿拉伯與俄羅斯，躍居全球首位。

然而，「原油價格每桶上漲5或10美元，投資人幾乎全不擔心，」Yahoo Finance分析師紐曼(Rick Newman)。「這顯示供需關係仍非常吃緊，」

在伊拉克，ISIS情況只是暫時停頓，可能隨時改變，紐曼說，美國的問題在於，沒有創造更多汽油的煉油產能，因而使得汽油供給受限，亦將使得汽油價格偏高。

根據紐曼表示，汽油價格可能永遠不會再跌破每加侖3.00美元。3.50美元可能算是正常，我們甚至得習慣於每加侖4.00美元。
