紅人3A王建民8日出戰老虎3A，比賽在第4局因雨中斷約1小時，恢復進行後建仔仍繼續投球，繳出5.2局失4分在平手時退場、無關勝敗。

王建民沒有被紅人拉上大聯盟支援雙重賽，今天(8日)按照輪值在3A登板，賽前成績為8勝5敗自責分率3.43。

面對老虎3A，王建民第1局因為保送、安打加上高飛犧牲打失掉1分，影響比賽的變化出現在第4局。

王建民4局上開局被Mike Hessman敲出二壘安打，球場突然下起大雨，比賽暫停約1小時之後，回到場上投球的仍是建仔。回來先抓下2個出局數失1分，王建民隨後再被敲出2支安打1保送失2分。

王建民投到第6局在平手時退場，總計主投5.2局用88球(55好球)，被敲出7支安打失4分。建仔此戰無關勝敗，自責分率稍稍上漲到3.57。
