販毒賣淫義大利計入GDP

義大利國家統計局 (Istat)表示，明年起將把毒品走私和性交易收入的估計納入國內生產毛額(GDP)計算，此舉預料將讓經濟數據更好看。

國家統計局說，走私菸酒收入也將納入計算，但承認，「這些非法活動不會申報，因此計算程序勢必相當困難」。國家統計局發表聲明解釋，新的計算方法符合歐洲聯盟新規範。

義大利央行2012年估計，犯罪經濟價值約占GDP的10.9%。理論上來說，這可能代表義大利經濟成長遠高於政府估計的1.3%。

歐盟統計局(Eurostat)先前估計，新計算方式將讓成員國GDP平均增加2.4%。歐洲統計局認為，義大利的增幅為1%到2%，芬蘭和瑞典則可提高4%到5%。

義大利上次把「灰色經濟」列入GDP計算是2008年的事，當時估計相關行業約占經濟的16.3%到17.5%。
