有人知道在 Apple 正式發表他們的首款 iPhone 之前，Google 的 Android 系統壓根沒打算支援觸控功能只打算支援實體鍵盤嗎？一份從 Apple 與 Samsung 的官司中被爆出的文件指出，Android 在 2006 年時的原始設計，其實是僅限定於獨立實體按鈕的裝置的，是說，當時也並沒有排除對觸控規格的支援啦 -- 實際上在 2014 年的現在看來，要找到沒有觸控規格的 Android 裝置倒是比較困難（好啦，一些電視機上盒之類的產品是這樣 XD）。

此外，這份軟體功能需求文件還揭露了不少初代 Android 就已經存在的規格，像是可更換式的內建儲存空間、第三方應用程式支援、Widgets、通知與 Google Services。而在 iPhone 發表後，最終 Android 系統的軟體需求甚至不僅放進了觸控規格，連多點觸控也都變成必要，自此之後，我們所使用的手機產品也有了重大的變革。
