台中市長胡志強今天贏得中國國民黨內初選，將尋求連任。民調一公布後，他參加台中市海峽兩岸交流協會會員大會時說，「看樣子，我還是要披掛上陣」，「沒有意外，不必欣喜，責任艱鉅，力爭必勝」，希望得到大家的支持。

胡志強說，這次民調是很單純的民調，民調內容沒有太多影響選民意向的問題，也沒有太多置入。國民黨、民進黨支持率五十、五十，這表示外界老是說，胡志強落後15%、20%，看樣子也未必，「五十、五十，我是鬥士，贏給你看」。
