【時報-台北電】蘋果才剛發布iOS 7.1，網友就搶先一步爆料，蘋果將在發布iOS 8時對地圖應用進行重大更新，新增公交導航功能，以期與谷歌地圖抗衡。

據9to5Mac網站報導，蘋果將在iOS 8系統中對地圖應用進行升級大改，重點放在應用資料的準確性和可靠性，而非用戶介面。

蘋果iOS 8版地圖應用將增加「興趣點（ Points of Interest）」，讓用戶更容易找到某些特定地點。利用iPhone羅盤硬體來虛擬查看附近的興趣點的「增強現實（Augmented Reality）」也將成?一大看點。

除此之外，蘋果已經在地圖應用內增加了公共交通功能，以確保用戶在乘坐公車、火車或者地鐵時能夠享受到導航服務。（新聞來源：旺報即時 戴瑞芬）
