澳洲戰機加入空襲IS行列

澳洲總理艾伯特（Tony Abbott）今天表示，澳洲戰鬥機已獲得授權，可以開始在伊拉克空襲伊斯蘭國（IS）叛亂分子，加入美國領導盟軍在中東打擊IS的作戰行列。

艾伯特說，澳洲特種部隊也將部署到伊拉克，提供「諮詢和協助」以支援伊拉克陸軍對抗這個伊斯蘭主義好戰團體。

在阿拉伯盟邦幫助下，美國8月以來在伊拉克空襲好戰分子，近2周來則一直在轟炸敘利亞的IS及其他團體。歐洲國家已加入伊拉克的空襲行動，但尚未加入在敘利亞的作戰。
