基市一名獨居的81歲周姓男子，昨晚參加友人兒子喜宴，因心情好多喝了幾杯。弟弟載他返家後，周男因不勝酒力摔倒在地，好心路人發現報警送醫，警消將他送往八堵礦工醫院治療。但周男到院後發起酒瘋，警方獲報趕往現場處理。

事後，周男弟弟趕到醫院向警方表示，因哥哥很少喝成這樣子，可能因酒醉無法正確表達身體不舒服，並非酒後鬧事。由於哥哥患有矽肺症等多項慢性病，長期在長庚醫院就診，可能是到這邊不習慣，才造成誤會。（蔡進男／基隆報導）
