台鐵嘉義水上車站發生旅客跳下月台遭撞死事件！一名男子29日上午11時左右進入車站，11時38分一輛南下自強號快速通過月台，男子竟突然跳下，當場被撞死。

根據《中央社》報導，這名男子在上午11時左右進入水上車站，當一輛11時38分南下的171次自強號快速通過月台時，男子竟突然跳下月台，當場被撞成碎塊。

列車長指出，列車因無停靠水上站，維持時速一百多公里的速度行駛，進入車站前30公尺，突然看見男子跳下軌道，雖然當下立即剎車，但還是來不及。

因男子身上未帶任何證件，警方目前正調查男子身分及了解案情。這起事故造成自強號延誤約1小時，200多乘客受到影響。
