金鶯單場4轟大勝遊騎兵

金鶯與遊騎兵系列賽首戰開打，這回金鶯火力全開，全場繳出4轟，灌進6分，其中Steve Pearce單場雙響砲，繳出4打點，終場金鶯以7比1大勝遊騎兵。

Pearce此役5打數2安打，分別在1、4局轟出2分砲，個人替球隊跑回2分，本季個人全壘打數來到第9轟。

另外，Adam Jones和J.J. Hardy也分別在1、2局轟出陽春砲，助金鶯攻下2分，前4局打完，金鶯靠著4發全壘打，以6比0遙遙領先遊騎兵。

5局下，金鶯再靠Caleb Joseph高飛犧牲打，攻下全場第7分。

反觀遊騎兵，全場繳出4安，僅在5局上、因為對方守備失誤，追回1分，最終無功而返。

這一戰，金鶯由Ubaldo Jimenez掛帥先發，Jimenez本季轉戰金鶯，球隊以4年4800萬美元簽下他，表現卻不如預期，在先發17場中，吞下8敗，四月份更是慘不忍睹，先發5場，合計27.1局，丟20分，皆為責失分，吞下4敗，單月自責分率6.59。

不過，Jimenez日趨穩定，此役投出精彩內容，先發8局，僅被敲4安，飆出7次三振，1次四壞球，失1分，非責失分，拿下勝投，本季戰績3勝8敗，自責分率4.31。

金鶯拿下近10場比賽第6勝，戰績43勝39敗，排名美聯東區第2，與同區霸主藍鳥僅剩1場勝差。

遊騎兵則吞下近12場比賽第10敗，戰績37勝45敗，暫居美聯西區倒數第2。
