美國廣播主持人凱西‧卡瑟姆去世

主持美國「American Top 40」廣播音樂節目聞名於世的主持人凱西‧卡瑟姆去世，享壽82。

卡瑟姆也是卡通影片「史酷比」中夏奇一角的配音員。

家人的聲明指出，卡瑟姆十五日清晨，在親人與友人環繞中去世。

凱西‧卡瑟姆生前罹患「路易體失智症」，近幾年並成為他的三名子女與第二任妻子，前演員瓊‧卡瑟姆上法院爭奪醫療與照顧權的對象。他的子女一度聲稱瓊將卡瑟姆藏起，他們已多年未見卡瑟姆。今年5月，法官曾暫時剝奪瓊的照料角色；瓊表示是為保有卡瑟姆的隱私，才將他與世隔絕。

卡瑟姆1974年7月4日開始主持「American Top 40」，當時的第一名歌曲是蘭迪紐曼的「Mama Told Me Not to Come」。2004年，卡瑟姆交出節目主持棒，2009年正式退休。
