民進黨提名前行政院院長游錫?參選新北市長，台聯秘書長林志嘉也宣布參選新北市長。為團結在野力量，民進黨及台聯有意循柯文哲模式整合。據了解，民進黨今天由2014選舉對策委員會召集人蘇嘉全、副秘書長洪耀福、競選總部執行總幹事高志鵬與林志嘉面對面會談，討論整合事宜，會中拍板，六月底前將採民調方式整合出在野陣營的新北市長人選。

林志嘉說，兩黨都同意六月底前，以民調完成整合，不要拖到七月，但細節還沒談，兩黨各自也要走完黨內的程序。
