美下令航空母艦駛入波斯灣

（法新社華盛頓14日電）五角大廈今天表示，為因應伊拉克危機，美國已下令喬治布希號航空母艦（USS George H.W. Bush）駛入波斯灣。

五角大廈發言人海軍少將柯比（JohnKirby）說：「這項命令將賦予美軍統帥額外靈活性，因應萬一需要訴諸軍事選項來保護伊拉克境內美國人的生命、公民及利益。」

美國國防部長黑格（Chuck Hagel）下達這道命令時，各方呼籲發動空襲，削弱遜尼派伊斯蘭好戰分子發動的閃電攻勢，這類攻勢已威脅到首都巴格達和什葉派領導的伊拉克政府。

美國總統歐巴馬昨天表示，美國不會派遣地面部隊重返戰場，但他正考量所有其他選項。
