全球LTE用戶上看 3億戶

（中央社記者鍾榮峰台北2014年6月15日電）資策會MIC預估，今年LTE用戶可望上看3億戶大關。

資策會產業情報研究所(MIC)預計，在中國大陸及各主要國家電信業者陸續進行4G商轉下，今年全球LTE用戶快速攀升，預期可達3億用戶。

展望無線寬頻發展趨勢，MIC表示，主要電信業者除持續提升網路覆蓋率與品質外，也將開始導入LTEBroadcast服務，試圖尋求行動影音服務更多的可能性。

在晶片部分，MIC表示，已有多款晶片商產品具備支援LTE Broadcast能力，預期今年下半年後，將有較多成熟晶片產品，可供終端裝置廠商選用。

MIC指出，LTE Broadcast服務商用化後，可觀察能否協助電信業者，在頻譜資源受限下，解決「維持行動通話與上網傳輸品質」與「提供眾多用戶享受即時影音廣播服務」的兩難。
