國防部昨天在草屯鎮寶島時代村舉辦「國軍人才招募宣導活動」，除安排戰技、戰鼓和跆拳道表演，還展示戰車、步槍等現代化軍備，並有步槍射擊、天堂路等體驗，希望吸引年輕人從軍。

南投縣代理縣長陳志清說，年輕人若擔心「畢業即失業」，從軍是很好的選擇，也可透過軍中訓練，將專長變成職業。

昨天軍方展示CM3八輪裝甲車、復仇者飛彈車、多功能工兵車等現代化裝備，軍士兵更親切教導民眾試乘操作，不少民眾帶著孩子體驗，玩得不亦樂乎。

國防部常務次長趙克達表示，徵兵制役期短，無法提升國軍戰力，募兵制能讓青年能學得專精，是青年很不錯的就業選擇。
