卡特威廉斯獲選NBA最佳新人

費城七六人(Philadelphia 76ers)的卡特威廉斯(Michael Carter-Williams)5日獲選為美國職業籃球(NBA)2014年度最佳新人(2014 NBA Rookie of the Year)。

卡特威廉斯本季在得分、助攻以及籃板都名列新秀第一，是自1951年以來，NBA史上第三位創造這項紀錄的新人。

卡特威廉斯本季平均16.7分、6.3助攻與6.2籃板，成為繼1961年的羅柏森(Oscar Robertson)以及1976年的亞當斯(Alvan Adams)後，第三位在這3個項目(得分、助攻與籃板)都名列新秀第一的人。

卡特威廉斯也是繼羅柏森以及魔術強生(Magic Johnson)之後，在NBA史上創造新人球季平均每場得分16分、助攻6次、籃板6次以上的球員。

卡特威廉斯在去年2013年NBA選秀中第11順位被七六人選中。他成為繼1996-97球季的艾佛森(Allen Iverson)後，七六人隊史上另一位奪下最佳新人獎的明日之星。
