紐西蘭調升基準利率

紐西蘭儲備銀行24日表示，由於經濟持續好轉，該行24日在六周內第二度調升基準利率，這次升幅和3月一樣，是0.25個百分點，使基準利率達到3%。在那之前，紐西蘭的2.5%歷史新低利率維持了三年。紐西蘭去年經濟成長率是3.5%。該行總裁Wheeler表示，通膨壓力正在增加，有必要加以抑制，而為了達到這目的，有必要升息。
