（中央社記者卞金峰桃園縣2014年3月15日電）林口長庚紀念醫院獲國際醫院評鑑JCI國際醫療認證，將於17日舉行授證典禮。

林口長庚指出，國際醫院評鑑JCI（JointCommission International）是國際最具知名度且最嚴謹的評鑑認證機構，全球目前有近60個國家參與認證，接受認證的機構超過450家。

在JCI國際認證史上，林口長庚醫院創下以最大單一量體的醫學中心級醫院通過的紀錄，成為全球首例，也因在認證過程中的優越表現，是台灣唯一接受美國總部總裁親自授證的醫療機構。

國際醫院評鑑認證標準共16章節1295項衡量項目，重視以病人為中心的照護，也特別注重團隊溝通整合、作業一致性與安全的管理流程及設施，藉由不斷的自我檢視與持續改善來提升醫療品質，保障病人就醫權益，提供員工安全的工作環境，也是躍進國際水準與國際接軌的具體行為。

林口長庚醫院以3700床醫學中心級的醫院規模，在今年1月13日至18日連續6天嚴格的評量標準檢視下，優異的表現獲得評鑑委員們一致性的認同及肯定。
