民進黨主席蘇貞昌上午出席世台會年會，強調他為了台灣必須打贏年底的選戰而到處趕場。

蔡英文宣布參選民進黨主席，民進黨主席蘇貞昌說，參選是黨員的權利，把黨顧好、黨任務完成是主席責任，包含服貿重啟談判、2014終結核四、年底七合一競選這三大任務，才是關係台灣最重要的工作。相較起來，民進黨主席選舉，優先順序要排在後面。

至於是否競選連任，蘇貞昌說，他個人的人生劇本，現在不能偷看，還對媒體記者說，「幫我偷看一下。」蘇貞昌說，每個人都是為黨好，希望一起努力，黨是大家的，但黨務很多很重，他扛重擔，要拜託大家幫忙。
