美國紐約市曼哈頓東哈林（East Harlem）於美東時間12日上午發生氣爆，造成2人死亡、數十人受傷。外交部表示，我駐紐約辦事處第一時間與紐約市政府及紐約市警察局取得聯繫，至目前為止，並無我國人及僑胞在事故中傷亡。

外交部表示，我駐紐約辦事處處長章文樑已分別致函紐約市市長白思豪（Bill de Blasio）及市議長馬麗桃（Melissa Mark- Vivento ）表達慰問之意，外交部及駐處會密切注意後續發展，與紐約市政府及警察局密切聯繫。
