法新社報導，俄國幾項民調顯示，該國總統普亭在軍事介入烏克蘭一事上立場強硬，民眾支持率因此攀升。

俄國獨立民調機構勒瓦達中心今年2月底在全國45個地區訪問了1603 人後發現，69%的民眾支持普亭的行動；不支持普亭的民眾僅30%，比去年的34%低。勒瓦達指出，普亭的支持率幾乎與他在2012年就職之後一樣高。
