去年起，蘋果手機裡一個叫做「常去地點」的軟體，就掌握了用蘋果手機的人去過哪些地方。蘋果聲稱，這些資料從沒離開過手機，不過，英國資訊專家說，蘋果的追蹤能力讓人不寒而慄。

蘋果手機的ios 7和ios 8作業系統都有這種功能。這種功能可以把使用人到達、離開某個地點，去過這個地點幾次等資料顯示在地圖上。

蘋果公司說，使用人同意，「常去地點」資料才會離開手機，交給別人。

不過，很多人擔心，這些資料會被不肖老闆拿去監視員工，或是想離婚的人拿去當配偶不忠的證據。
