【動新聞╱台中報導】年約40歲的的張先生視力模糊長達半年，但卻一直以為是中年老花眼，並未積極就醫，沒想到日前差點因視力問題出了車禍，才下定決心前往中山附醫檢查，沒想到檢查結果，發現張先生雙眼視力只剩下0.1，雙眼外側視野明顯縮小，根本不是老花眼症狀，經腦部核磁造影確認是腦蝶鞍部位有顆三公分的腦下垂體腫瘤壓迫視神經，手術切除後，視力順利恢復。

中山附醫神經外科醫師陳斯逸指出，腦下垂體腫瘤引起的視覺缺損初期可能感覺視力全面性的模糊與黯淡，漸漸會覺得視野變小，只能透過手術切除以挽救視力。醫師也建議手術後仍需定期追蹤體內賀爾蒙分泌量與腦部影像，避免再度復發。
