新北市長朱立倫與國民黨台北市參選人連勝文，「勝立連線」首次成功，兩人頂著30度的高溫，從三重搭捷運到新莊後，一路步行到板橋，連勝文抵達新莊前已經全身是汗，整件POLO衫早已濕了一半，朱立倫同樣汗流浹背，朱立倫仍盡地主之誼，每到一個地點盡力向連勝文介紹，連勝文過程中，不斷驚呼新北市的進步，不過，朱立倫走到板橋435藝文特區後，胸前卻濕兩小塊，令現場記者有些尷尬。
