合庫董事會通過赴緬甸設辦事處

　合庫銀昨天召開董事會，會中通過在緬甸仰光市設立辦事處，這也是該行啟動2年增設5個海外據點項目之一，藉此前進東協市場。

　合庫銀說，緬甸是東南亞第二大國，人口約6000萬；因位居中、印兩國之間及大湄公河流域，且自101年起國際經濟制裁陸續解除，吸引外商相繼進駐投資，是東協成員國極具潛力的消費市場。

　但該行指出，目前緬甸尚未開放外國銀行設立子行或分行；惟未來開放外資金融機構進駐已是既定的政策，因而決定赴當地設立辦事處，將有助於及早掌握當地開放商機。
