戴爾：英國央行不該控制房價

英國中央銀行英格蘭銀行(Bank of England，BoE)首席經濟學家戴爾(Spencer Dale)表示，英國央行不能也不該控制房價。
戴爾是在接受英國每日郵報(Daily Mail)專訪時，作了這項表示。每日郵報28日在網站上公布訪問內容。
英格蘭銀行在26日表示，將限制一般人的購屋貸款成數，希望藉此抑制以兩位數飆漲的房屋價格。
戴爾指出，控制房價不是英國央行的工作，而且英國央行也無法控制。房價應由潛在的市場條件來決定。
英格蘭銀行總裁卡尼(George Carney)認為，房屋市場過熱危害英國經濟的穩定。 英國央行計劃，貸款金額超過借款者收入的4.5倍以上屬於「高倍數貸款」(high multiples of income)，「高倍數貸款」不得超過銀行一般房屋貸款總額的15%。此外，銀行還必須加強對借款者負擔能力的檢查工作。
