1名家境清寒的莊姓警專學生，去年5月騎車外出買消夜，遭1輛轎車撞死，莊男父母指控，肇事方以沒有駕照的羅姓泊車小弟扛罪，判賠616萬元，但沒錢入已監服刑，莊姓父母泣訴，對方擺明不賠。

今日出版的《自由時報》報導，「酒家員工載老闆回家，為什麼酒家不用負責？」莊男父母說，案發後第4天，羅男把名下在新竹的土地轉到家人名下，還說「如果要賠，只拿得出8萬元」，但說詞反覆，似乎「知道逃不了，要幫車主脫罪」，歐男未曾表達過關心或道歉。

士林地院審理，判羅男應給付家屬共616萬多元，歐男免賠，但羅男名下已無資產，且因過失致死遭判1年半，已入監服刑。莊男父母將提出上訴。歐男委任律師僅強調，歐男非駕駛，其他部分未經授權，不便表示意見。（陳亮諭／綜合報導）
