馬林魚「怪力男」Giancarlo Stanton在2012年因傷錯過明星賽，今年的他再次展現重砲威力，有機會被國聯隊長Troy Tulowitzki選進全壘打大賽，Stanton本人則是相當期待。

「2012年很不幸運，如果我能再得到第2次機會，肯定會相當有趣。」Stanton說。

2012年Stanton在7月初開刀治療右膝，使得他錯過當年的明星賽跟全壘打大賽，去年則沒有被國聯隊長David Wright給挑中，今年這位怪力男已經做好萬全準備。

Stanton現年24歲，大聯盟生涯前565場比賽扛出137支全壘打，是現役球員第3多的，僅次於Ryan Howard(175)跟Albert Pujols(141)，更有機會成為現役第2位在25歲之前達成150轟的選手。

值得一提的是，今年怪力男已經轟出5支超過450英呎的超大號全壘打，其他人最多就只有1支。
