2分08秒！史上最快烏龍球

截至目前，烏龍球在本屆世界盃戲份不少，在阿根廷對波士尼亞與赫塞哥維納一戰，誕生了史上最快烏龍球紀錄。

球賽進行到第三分鐘，Sead Kolasinac處理Lionel Messi開出的自由球失誤造成進球，FIFA官方記錄為2分08秒，刷新2006年德國世界盃所創的最快烏龍球記錄。

德國世界盃當時的記錄由巴拉圭Carlos Gamarra 對英格蘭一戰締造，為2分46秒，Kolasinac快了38秒。

另外，波士尼亞與赫塞哥維納是史上第二支球隊，在世界盃初登場，首次以烏龍球形式丟球的隊伍，前一支是澳洲，發生在1974年西德世界盃。

而在進球榜方面，目前名列榜首的球員皆為2次進球，如果「烏龍球」有列入比較的話，應該是「烏龍球」領先，已經進了3球。
