2014年總冠軍賽第2戰，有冷氣吹的邁阿密熱火靠著「小皇帝」LeBron James飆進35分，以98：96險勝聖安東尼奧馬刺，系列賽總比分1：1平手。

首節還沒「熱機」的熱火，開局就陷入雙位數落後，不過James在第2、3節分別轟下11分、14分，領軍追上馬刺。

決勝節6分鐘時，馬刺Tony Parker、Tim Duncan連續4罰失手，James趁隙連得5分，但Boris Diaw的三分球又將比數追平。

最後3分鐘，戰局進入白熱化，熱火Chris Andersen拉桿上籃、Parker外線開砲，沒人能佔得明顯優勢。

1分18秒，Chris Bosh在底線接獲James妙傳後飆進關鍵三分彈，隨後馬刺連續兩次進攻都無建樹，「閃電俠」Dwyane Wade最後9.4秒放進致命兩分，熱火成功踢館。

James全場繳出35分、10籃板、3助攻，後3節共得33分，只發生1次失誤，沒讓憾事重演。

Bosh攻下18分、3籃板，Wade貢獻14分、7籃板，不過熱火板凳球員只得12分，當中9分來自「雷槍」Ray Allen。

馬刺全場三分球26投12中，命中率高達46.2%，傳出多達26次助攻，但守不住由James發動的攻勢，無緣取得關鍵第2勝。

系列賽第3戰將轉戰熱火主場美國航空球場，比賽時間為11日上午9點。

今年總冠軍賽主場賽制變革，改為與分區季後賽相同的「2-2-1-1-1」，找回賽事公平性，而非以往的「轉播第一」。
