台灣投手王維中7日出賽被強襲球打中，經過檢查後只有皮肉傷，8日賽前還看到王維中戴上太陽眼鏡搞笑，相當適應大聯盟的生活。

王維中7日後援2局失2分，其中在第8局投球時，被海盜Travis Snider擊出的強襲球打中右膝附近，當時繼續留在投手丘上投球。

經過球團檢查後，王維中的右腳只有瘀傷，骨頭並沒有受損。今天(8日)釀酒人繼續跟海盜交手，王維中賽前還戴上太陽眼鏡把玩，搞笑的畫面剛好被鏡頭捕捉到。

本季王維中出賽9場都是後援，沒有勝敗紀錄自責分率12.79，主投12.2局失掉18分自責分，最近2次出賽都投2局(失1分、失2分)。
