《國際產業》巴諾攜手三星，Nook平板捲土重來

【時報-記者柯婉琇綜合外電報導】為了重振大幅虧損的Nook數位事業，巴諾書店將與三星電子合作開發新款平板電腦。

此款新平板將結合三星的硬體與Nook的軟體，讓巴諾不必花錢開發硬體，能專注於提供數位閱讀計術與內容。

巴諾去年宣布將停產Nook平板，直到找到合作夥伴為止。因無力抵禦來自於亞馬遜、蘋果與谷歌陣營的猛烈競爭，巴諾Nook數位事業部門陷入龐大的虧損。

巴諾預計8月初在美國推出7吋版的Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook平板電腦，將在旗下近700家門市與巴諾官網上銷售。

巴諾同意在新款Nook平板推出後第一年採購100萬台，但如果新產品無法達成銷售目標，這個採購期間也可展延至15個月。

周四巴諾書店股價上漲4％，至19.67美元。
