（中央社華盛頓2014年6月31日綜合外電報導）美國國防官員今天說，為換取遭塔利班（Taliban）俘虜囚禁將近5年的美國陸軍中士伯格達爾（Bowe Bergdahl）獲釋，5名塔利班囚犯已搭乘美國C-17軍機離開關達那摩灣美國監獄。

不願具名的這位國防官員說：「這5名囚犯將移交給卡達當局監管，他們的行動和活動將會受到限制。」

在伯格達爾獲釋前，美國與塔利班最近幾個月的間接談判重新展開新回合談判，由卡達扮演調解者角色。
