泰國舉辦大選至少等一年

泰國警方與軍隊31日湧入曼谷市中心，進駐示威抗議現場，軍方領袖表示，至少需要一年時間才能舉行大選、重返民主。

陸軍總司令巴育30日晚間發表電視談話表示，軍方需要更多時間協調反對派的政治勢力、推動改革，「我知道我們身處民主世界。我們唯一所求的，就是給我們時間改革。」

巴育坐在泰王蒲美蓬夫婦的肖像畫前說：「相信大家會選擇我們的王國，勝於有缺陷的民主體制。」
