《國際產業》強化地圖服務？傳谷歌擬收購Skybox

【時報-記者柯婉琇綜合外電報導】彭博報導，消息人士透露，谷歌（Google）已就收購Skybox Imaging進行協商。Skybox是一家提供高解析圖像與精密分析的衛星公司，可望強化谷歌的地圖服務。

消息人士表示，谷歌與Skybox的併購協商仍在初步階段，交易未必實現；目前尚不清楚谷歌將如何運用Skybox。

因旗下各項服務－從搜尋、地圖到電信與音樂銷售，均面臨競爭者挑戰，谷歌正積極網羅技術與生力軍以推進新市場；谷歌本月至少已揭露五件收購案。上周亦有消息人士透露，谷歌已經與影片服務業者Twitch Interactive公司討論收購事宜。

科技網站《TechCrunch》在稍早前報導，谷歌收購Skybox的價碼約為10億美元。谷歌與Skybox不願就相關報導發表評論。
