澳洲內閣已同意支持Abbort政府向高收入者徵收國債稅，凡年薪超過15-18萬澳元之納稅義務人將被課徵45%之所得稅稅率，高所得者將須較去(102)年多繳納2%之所得稅。

另澳洲內閣在預算案討論決議將裁刪16,000個公務職缺，並將冗員或不適時之政府部門合併，撙節公帑，澳洲總理就此並聲明表示，不願跟前政府做法一樣，借貸支持財政，讓財政赤字持續上升禍遺子孫，期望全國人民能共體時艱，讓澳洲財政預算赤字能儘早平衡，使整體經濟穩固。(資料來源：經濟部國貿局)
