高中籃球天才梅克引起關注

被認為是現在美國高中最有天分的球員之一，就讀高三的17歲前鋒梅克，目前已經被多所大學鎖定。

目前傳出包含杜克大學、路易維爾大學、堪薩斯、肯塔基等學校都準備招收他。身高213公分的梅克來自澳洲，家人來自是來自蘇丹的難民。他以身高7呎但能裡能外的身手聞名，同時具有驚人的體能和協調性，被認為是年輕版的賈奈特，同時也是未來選秀狀元人選。

據說目前杜克K教練薛塞夫斯基、路大皮提諾兩名名人堂教練，都已經親自觀察他，招生準備相當積極。
